Each of our presentations is also available as an *inquiry-based workshop . With a capacity of 50-55 participants
and an approximately 45 minute to 1-hour science encounter , we are able to offer a hands-on experience designed to augment and enhance your curriculum or theme. Whether you choose to book one workshop , a full day of workshops
or a great follow-up session to one of "The Science Alliance" presentations , you can be assured they meet or exceed state curriculum requirements and are absolutely engaging.
How do you select 50-55 students from a larger student body to participate in a workshop? We suggest you select kids
who have achieved the highest grades or perhaps those that need the most extra help. You can reward students who have
attained perfect attendance or have been "caught" performing acts of kindness. Consider a lottery or kick off your Science Fair
with an exciting workshop experience that encourages and supports their decision to participate and to succeed. It's up to you!
Asking questions, experimenting and testing theories at any age level helps build self esteem. By learning to become critical thinkers and problem-solvers and to develop teamwork abilities, kids gain the confidence that is so often lacking in the subjects
